What a great way to recount your year! I'm not a friend of any wet medium. I stink when I work with watercolour! My art tool year could be summarised in: acrylic markers (posca, molotow), thick graphite (9B), indigo blue Polychromos on graph paper (my year's favourite!), colour pencils, and dip pen. Oh, and fountain pen!

Thank you, Juliana! I'm curious: between dip pen and fountain pen, which one do you fancy more? I am so used to regular ink gel pens that I too quickly neglected my nib pen experiments.

Hmmm... it depends on what I'm doing. I love writing and sketching with my fountain pen. But for more elaborate calligraphy, or finished lines I prefer the dip pen and the whole range of nibs! The ink I use with my dip pen takes ages to dry out! So I use it when I'm not in a rush.

I absolutely adore the way you experiment with different mediums and techniques in your artwork. It's such an inspiring and creative process!

Mojca - what a delightful post giving an insight into your world. I love your illustrations - so tender and bright plus your ceramic palettes are dinky!

Thank you so much! I'm delighted you've noticed my tiny palettes - I made them myself and they aren't so great at playing their role, haha. The depth of each hole is way too shallow!

Ah well at least they are aesthetically pleasing and sometimes just having things like that around are enough to get ourselves feeling creative:)

Thank you so much, Reem! I feel it doesn't really look like my style, though. The marbles are my favourite part and they were so fun to draw!
