Most nights, if I didn’t fall asleep immediately, felt like I’m the only person left on this planet and no matter how absurd that thought seemed, even back then, I couldn’t stop it. Instead of my plushies, I had to surround myself with my parents, and instantly felt a little less alone.
I’ve learnt how to block these thoughts by now, fortunately. Now, I worry about AI, environmental crisis, genocides and tehnofeudalism instead.
Did you have trouble falling asleep?
Did your parents let you sneak in their bed?
My hand feels much better now. Thank you all for your encouraging words. So, until next week. Cheers! - Mojca
Your artwork is beautiful! And yes this was definitely me…. most nights I’d tiptoe into my parents room. My younger daughter was the same. I like to think it’s the creative imaginations we have!
This is so beautiful!
