Have a place in my memory too

In school we all wore indoor slippers. No one really paid much attention to what we were wearing, but I noticed most kids had closed heel slippers. Those bunny-shaped ones were particularly popular (and ugly!). I always thought I had the coolest slippers – boring-looking, grey slip-on slippers a grandpa would wear.

They weren’t the best for running upstairs or chasing classmates, but it’s not like I was particularly active.
